Truth emerged victorious: Zaka Ashraf

According to Daily azad kashmir news  Reinstated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Zaka Ashraf has reiterated that there is no politics in cricket adding that truth won in the case registered against him. Ashraf arrived at the PCB headquarters here on Thursday to assume charge of his post. Speaking to the media, Ashraf said his reinstatement illustrated the independence of the judiciary. 






Daily azad kashmir news quoted that PCB chief said he respected Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who was the board’s patron and would brief him on cricket affairs. “We have created a new history, Ashraf said referring to the fact that no one has been removed from PCB chairman position and then reinstated again. Zaka Ashraf praised Najam Sethi who had been serving as acting chairman PCB and said he had no ill will towards him. “Najam Sethi, [interim PCB chairman during the removal of Ashraf], can approach the Supreme Court if he wants to,” the newly reinstated PCB chairman added, further stating that he respects all the courts and their decisions. 

According to Daily azad kashmir news during his press conference he also said that he forgives everyone who had registered a case against him. “There is no politics in cricket and Pakistan’s name should be on the top when it comes to cricket,” Ashraf remarked. He also stated that the announcement of the Twenty20 team will discussed during the PCB meeting. When asked about who would replace Dav Whatmore as the national team’s coach, Ashraf replied that the matter would be resolved in a few days. 


The PCB chairman said a decision regarding the team’s captain would be made keeping in mind fitness and national interest. “Right now Misbah-ul-Haq is fit.” The PCB chairman said a decision on Pakistan’s participation in the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh will be made after the evaluation of the security team. Zaka Ashraf was reinstated as chairman PCB by the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday.

Denial of right to self-determination by India:

According to newspaper of muzaffarabad Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has again appealed to the international community to play its role in getting the UNSC resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir implemented to establish durable peace in the region. Talking to various delegations here on Wednesday he said that Kashmiris have launched their peaceful struggle to achieve right to self-determination following its continued denial by India. He observed that Indian Occupied forces could not dampen the spirit of Kashmiri people from their liberation struggle, adding that India could not cool down the will and determination of valiant people of J&K despite using all kinds of brute tactics.



 Newspaper of muzaffarabad quoted that the Premier invited the attention of the OIC and other organizations of the world to take stock of Indian aggression and continued genocide of Kashmiris by the Indian forces in IHK. Meanwhile presiding over a high level meeting in Muzaffarabad the Prime Minister reassured that monuments of Kashmiri heroes of liberation struggle would be constructed. He disclosed that monumental of Ghazi-e-Millat Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim would be constructed at Muzaffarabad while the monuments of Shuhada would also be constructed in the capital and Sialkot. Opposition stages walkout from NA over Nisar's statement

According to daily muzaffarabad news Opposition parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and Pakistan People’s Party have staged walk out over the statements of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar during National Assembly’s session on Wednesday. Chaudhry Nisar had said in NA session that a single party was staging drama over thumb verification. 



Addressing the media, Opposition leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah said his party will not become part of mid term elections conspiracy. daily muzaffarabad news quoted that PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said electronic voting system should be introduced to avoid all confusion, adding that the session was boycotted over Nisar s remarks. During the National Assembly’s session, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said election tribunal wasn’t under his ministry.

 Referring to PTI, Chaudhry Nisar said a single party was staging a drama over thumb verification of votes, adding that a confusion was created over the magnetized ink. Nisar said the government was ready to form a committee headed by a judge to probe the matter, adding that he feared around 60 percent unverified votes in each constituency. Nisar said that a large number of votes cannot be verified as magnetized ink was apparently not used in all districts. 

He said action should be taken against those who couldn’t provide magnetized ink to all polling stations. Nisar said the caretaker government and election commission was responsible to ensure fair elections and prevent rigging- Online
